Born in Chicago, John Saunders has become one of Tennessee's most talented artists, creating life's memories through his sensitive photography. After serving in the U.S. Air Force, John decided to relocate to the The Great Smoky Mountain area in March 1997 to become a full time freelance photographer. John has photographed East Tennessee endlessly, capturing the radiant beauty of the land.
Saunders Productions covers many different realms of photography, including nature shots, wedding packages, and aeriel photography of the area. His personal portfolio includes photos of local landmarks, stunning scenery, and various pictures shot during Tennesse's most beautiful times.
John offers total outdoor wedding packages to anyone exchanging vows in The Smoky Mountains. Sevier County makes for beautiful outdoor weddings, and John Saunders is able to capture the beauty of your special day through his creative eye and captivating photography. John works with Rick and Mara Joyce, Cupids Petals, to complete the Total Wedding package - covering photography, flowers, and an outdoor wedding location for yhour perfect day.
Recently, John traveled to the Willcoxon's farm located in Sevier County, to take family portraits for the family to treasure for years to come. "John is very talented," said Bob Willcoxon, Project Director, Sales Division for the Westgate Smoky Mountain Resort at Gatlinburg. "John brings out the best in everyone's personalities through his relaxed nature and lighthearted approach to photography."
When asked to describe his philosophy, John replied, "To tell a photographic story of each event while capturing The Great Smoky Mountains in the background. " He follows his philosophy completely, making a wonderfully scripted history of Sevier County through photos as a opposed to words.
As the saying goes, "a picture is a thousand words," and John Saunders has focused his life's work on a vision, resulting in a vividly painted canvas of East Tennessee's countryside.
